I know, glass houses, etc, etc., but I absolutely love reading about errors in newspapers and such. Partly it’s schadenfreude, but partly they’re so unintentionally hilarious, and surrounded by such a straight ‘just the facts’ approach, that the humour is set off even more.

So I giggled all the way through the extensive roundup at RegretTheError.com of their best and funniest errors, corrections and other news mistakes of 2009.

I posted one, almost at random, above. There are literally dozens — scores! — more.
