That’s the original trilogy desecrated. If you’d like to see the prequel zombie posters, check out here.

By the by, these posters were drawn by Matt Busch, an official Star Wars artist for Lucasfilm, which DOESN’T MAKE IT RIGHT.

  1. I’m not disagreeing I’m just saying one redeeming quality of the zombie craze is that it will never go the way of the vampire and be co-opted to market to goofy quivering adolescent girls and clog up theatres for months.
    Just sayin’….

    • You could argue that zombies have been co-opted to market to goofy adolescent boys for years now, though.

Also, there was some interesting research about a year and a half ago (I think) that correlated zombies with Republican presidents and vampires with Democrat presidents (which sparked some debatable chatter about Republican “class warfare” and Democrat “blood sucking taxes”).

I like zombies a lot — no, really, a lot — and I don’t even mind the idea of zombie mashups with other franchises. Even, I suppose, Star Wars. It just seems like a lazy thing to do these days.

  2. I think the craze will really jump the shark when Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies gets made into a film.

No really, it’s being made into a film with Natalie Portman.
