Well, the kid did do it — a Guinness World Record. I read about him on (sigh) Fox, where they report he “set the record for the fastest ever 10-meter hand walk with a weight ball between his legs.” (Some of those records seem pretty esoteric, don’t they.)

My response is part amazement, and part horror, I’m constantly amazed at how the body works and adapts to its environment and how muscles can be developed at even such a young age. The horrific part to me is that the dad is subjecting his kid to this kind of thing at such a young age.
