50 years of space exploration

I came across a very cool image, more like an extremely detailed graph, showing the path of the various probes sent from Earth to examine the other planets.

The image is fairly large, so click here to see it.

What’s interesting (but also fairly self-evident, I suppose) is that by far the Moon has been the most explored body in our solar system, with 73 missions.

You could spend a lot of time tracking the paths of the different probes. I sure did!
