I took this picture a couple of days ago at a Shoppers Drug Mart. For their elucidation:

Sale – säl
(noun)
2. an event for the rapid disposal of goods at reduced prices for a period, esp. at the end of a season.
on sale – offered for purchase at reduced price

I hardly think that offering a handful of “bonus points” qualifies as a sale.

(PS. Ignore the dirty associations of this post’s title (‘sale’ translates from French into ‘dirty’). I’m obviously referencing Magritte.)
