Who’s up for a party?

At six seconds after 4:05 am on July 8, the date and time will be:

04:05:06:07:08:09

If that’s not an excuse to have a party, I don’t know what is…

Do not confuse this revelation with an actual invitation to a party. If anyone will be having one, it will be Grant. Email him for details.

    I don’t like this, because you’re doing hr:min:sec mo/day/yr

It should be consistent — biggest to smallest or smallest to biggest. Personally, I prefer hr:min:sec and then day/mo/yr.

So you’re a month too early for this party, which should be six seconds past 4:05 (a.m. or else it would be 16:05) on Aug. 7 this year.

    I’m game.

I’m not going to argue the point, as mo/day/yr or day/mo/yr tends to be pretty non-standardized. Maybe two parties are called for, so as not to leave out anyone who feels strongly about one format or the other.

That said, your contrarian streak runs deep.

Okay, two parties is an acceptable compromise.
