In the town of Boissevain, near where I live, they used to have an annual turtle derby that was something like this. Except, you know, with turtles instead of with babies.
Still, the concept is the same — and it’s adorable!
Only one thing could make this better: even smaller, younger babies, riding these ones, with tiny saddles.

Bah. They were holding “diaper derbies” at Rotary Park in Flin Flon in the 50′s.
Let’s not forget Boissevain’s (late, lamented) Turtle Derby.
Exactly. turtles are babies too!
You’ll note that the turtle derby was indeed mentioned in the post! Now, though, I see a future in turtle-vs-baby derbies. Who’s in?
