Last week, I changed my Facebook status to say that I dreaded Monday … but it was already here! A friend commented on my status to suggest that I watch some Boomtown Rats. She said, “But you have to watch the video and see a young Bob Geldof to get the full effect…so cute he is.”
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to YouTube it until 9:30 that Monday night. Still, it was remarkably upbeat! How often do you get to hear a song that references silicon chips in one’s head as well as telex machines? Especially songs that were written about random school shootings?

Oh, and I now have a personal hate on for “Embedding disabled by request.” It almost is enough to make me rip the video to mpg, and host it myself. See that, Universal Music Group? You’re making me a pirate!
